The percussion students are presented with numerous opportunities through drumline, pit, percussion ensemble and African drumming each year.  In conjunction with the Dambe Project (www.dambe.org), students are trained on African history, culture and greater world experiences through the music of African drumming.  The percussion class also joins with the three concert bands providing additional color and rhythmic pulse during the spring semester.
