The three concert bands are divided by performance level and ability in order to allow students to perform a diverse selection of select wind band repertoire.  The three bands offered at Rincon/University High School are Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds and Concert Winds.   Students prepare music for performances throughout the spring semester.  In April of 2008 the Wind Ensemble premiered at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
