The Rincon/University High School Band is conducted by Director of Bands Jeff Marchant.  The Ranger Band offers a wide selection of musical and educational performance opportunities through its three concert bands, marching band, percussion ensemble, jazz band, and winter guard.  The experiences that come with membership in the Ranger Band builds academic excellence, discipline, character, pride and self-confidence at a crucial age which forms the spring board to even greater achievement throughout life and the satisfaction of knowing that your time, talent, and effort have paid off through the highest levels of achievement.  The Band Boosters, RUMBA, provide vital support for the extra educational needs of the students in the Ranger Band program.
